Helicopter Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Well-Known California Coast
A chopper flying over a well-attended coastal coastline abruptly started spinning out of control, finally dropping height and crashing into a cluster of palm trees as beachgoers observed.
Videos posted on social media capture the aircraft commencing to spiral above the shoreline then plunging near the border of the shore, where it becomes wedged amidst palms and a set of stairs close to the coastal road.
First Aid Update
Emergency responders reported five individuals were rushed to the hospital comprising two who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” following the incident on Saturday.
Three individuals on the street were injured. Specifics on their condition were still under review.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.
