The Music Icon Embraces a Dark Alter Ego of Herself in Mockumentary Teaser
The celebrated musician is preparing for a major cinematic presence in 2026, beginning with the satirical film titled The Moment.
Within the project, she portrays what she calls as a dark version of her own persona.
It’s the realest depiction of the entertainment world that I’ve ever witnessed, the star stated.
She clarified in a conversation: It’s not a tour documentary, but the idea came from the expectation to produce one.
A Glimpse into The Moment
The first teaser, unveiled on recently, blends actual recordings from Charli’s Sweat tour with fictionalized behind-the-scenes moments.
The Moment is helmed and co-scripted by the director, who shared that the story focuses on a world where Charli took completely different paths during the promotion of her smash hit album Brat.

A Packed Movie Lineup
The mockumentary is a single one of several future movie projects for Charli, who has featured in three independent movies recently.

Upcoming Projects
Next year will also include the star together with Olivia Wilde in romantic thriller I Want Your Sex, Natalie Portman in art world thriller The Gallerist, and Barbie Ferreira in scary reboot Faces of Death.
Additionally, she signed on to appear in Dakota Johnson’s maiden directing project A Tree in Blue.

Musical Contributions
The month of February will also see the debut of the director’s interpretation of Wuthering Heights, which will showcase fresh tracks from Charli.
She will also provide music for the story Mother Mary, featuring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, scheduled for release next year.
The mockumentary is set to premiere on the 30th of January.
